Dry needling can treat conditions like neck and back pain, muscle tension, headaches/migraines, fibromyalgia, medial and lateral epicondylitis, patients that have plateaued with other types of care, and more. It is effective by disrupting contracted muscles and fascia, stimulating a localized immune response, and increasing blood flow for improved healing without scar formation. It also reduces pain by releasing oxytocin within the body.
For thousands of years, cupping therapy has been one of the most sought after alternative treatments for chronic pain and disease in traditional Chinese Medicine. Among the many different alternative approaches, cupping proves to host many health benefits that can often complement modern medicine techniques.
A highly effective form of deep tissue manipulation, cupping is a technique during which the doctor creates a vacuum or suction within a silicone cup, and places it onto the skin.
