We specialize in various chiropractic adjusting techniques, therapeutic exercises and muscular and myofascial treatments to offer a well rounded approach to patient care. Our chiropractors are proud to offer effective treatments for a wide variety of conditions, including the following:
Swedish Relaxation Massage
This type of massage focuses on overall relaxation of the body and mind as well as enhancing healing and improving function of the body.
Encompassing site specific, exploratory, sports and myofascial techniques, all designed to treat acute or chronic soft tissue dysfunctions.
Our licensed massage therapists are accepting new clients for Swedish relaxation, and therapeutic massage. You shouldn’t have to travel to the spa or pay spa prices for a more convenient, more effective treatment right here at Back & Body. Whether or not you are an established chiropractic patient, you can schedule with our therapists. For established patients, the therapists can coordinate directly with your doctor, discussing your personal history to tailor the correct treatment approach for you. Choose between 60 minute, 90 minute, or 120 minute treatment sessions.
We do accept some insurances and always have gift certificates available for purchase.
Dry needling complements the various other pain relief techniques we provide at Back & Body Chiropractic. A very thin needle is placed into the tender tissue or trigger point. Dry needling is able to treat deeper layers of tissues than other therapies – this is the magic! It works by mechanically disrupting the tight areas and increasing blood flow, which allows the muscles to relax. This can also allow for better chiropractic adjustments. It unlocks the tissue, thereby encouraging the tissue to return to a normal and improved level of function. Dry needling is a great tool for those individuals who have plateaued in care. Patients have reported a pinching sensation and a dull aching if they feel anything, and it decreases as the needles work. The appointments typically last about 30 minutes.
For thousands of years, cupping therapy has been one of the most sought after alternative treatments for chronic pain and disease in traditional Chinese Medicine. Among the many different alternative approaches, cupping proves to host many health benefits that can often complement modern medicine techniques.
A highly effective form of deep tissue manipulation, cupping is a technique during which the doctor creates a vacuum or suction within a silicone cup, and places it onto the skin.
